Seriously, Why Do We Even Have Relationships?

If it's simply for the sake of procreation, this world has been going to shit and only continues to sink to the depths of hell, so we can stop. The fighting and the cheating and the treating each other like hot pieces of shit is no longer necessary. How bout we just stop. It's OK. Really.

Chris Henry, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, is in beyond serious condition and fighting for his life after fighting with his fiancee and jumping on her pickup truck as she tried to drive away. He ended up falling out of the bed of her pickup truck. Ummmmm, seriously, why is it ever that serious? You got Tiger running away and smashing up fire hydrants and now you got Chris Henry jumping on the back of pick-up trucks. Just let a motherfluffer run people! If they are trying to escape and drive away, let them! Just Daauym.

Pray for Chris ya'll.

UPDATE: He died. 26 years old. Sad. Sigh....

Good Sport?

So after Melo and the Nuggets lost to Kobe and the Lakers, Melo went over to congratulate Kobe and show him some love. There aren't any pictures of LeBron hugging Dwight or anybody on the Magic. Not even shaking hands. And people are not happy with LeBron because he just walked off the court without showing 'good sportsmanship'. He said:

“It’s hard for me to congratulate somebody after you just lose to them. I mean, I’m a winner. That’s not being a poor sport or anything like that. Somebody beat you up, you’re not going to congratulate them on beating you up. I’m a competitor. That’s what I do. It don’t make sense to me to go up and shake somebody’s hand.”

I kind of agree HOWEVER, LeBron James, you get paid mazillions of dollars to play your ass off and win. When you lose somebody else has to win and they deserve to at least get a head nod or a back pat. I know it is hard to lose, especially when you were really, really, really supposed to win, but Bron you have too many people watching your behavior. Your two boys, especially. Next time just smile and nod. Actually, next time WIN and we won't have to have this discussion, mkay? Still luh u boo, still luh u.

Jennifer Hudson: Simply Amazing

J. Hud SANG the national anthem at the Superbowl last night and she smashed it. She looked beautiful and peaceful and even more importantly, she sounded amazing. Word is, her performance wasn't live and was in fact pre-recorded. (So was Faith Hill's song) But who gives a crap? It was HER pre-recorded voice and she knows how to lip-synch better than anybody cuz nobody would have known if people didn't always have to point shit out. I'm now very much lookin forward to seein her at the Grammy's. Welcome back Jenny.

Oh and congrats to the Steelers for winning the Superbowl. Thanks to the Cardinals for making this game interesting and fun to watch.

It's Called Heart

Or just a good old fashion ass whoppin! Boston beat the Lakers last night...no they blew the Lakers out! It was amazing, it was organic, and I couldn't have been happier. I mean, I was watching the game with a new friend of mine (hey luscious, I'm about to go find me some 100% fat free fries) and we were both on the same page...the thing is, we are NOT Boston Celtic fans. I for sure, am NOT. We are however huge fans of that sexy chocolate bean pole, Kevin Garnett. I've loved him forever. Mostly because I just think there is something so beautiful about that man...and not to mention his joyous spirit is absolutely contagious. I guess more importantly tho, he is GREAT at what he does. The man can ball, point blank, period. And he came into this league -- the first NBA player ever to be drafted out of High School -- and has been working his ass off trying to carry his team to the playoffs and then just past a first round. If you've seen KG play, you know that he is one of the best all around players in the league. Meaning he can do everything....and he's a born leader. The frustration of having all this talent but it not being enough, well, that can be beyond draining. The star is only as good as his supporting cast and Minnesota just wasn't cutting for KG.

In what was to become the best move ever, KG was traded to the Boston Celtics. At first I was like eww, really? The Celtics? Boston?! But then I relaxed a bit because I started to realize that KG may actually be able to make it do wut it do with this team. Why? Well because he had Ray Allen on his sqaud -- another baller who has been trying to lead teams to victory -- and he had Paul Pierce. Now I'm not necessarily a fan of Paul's but he and Kevin have a very similar story. And to watch it all come together last night was amazing. Almost ironic....

Ironic because the reason Kobe has all his rings is because, well dude is a beast, but because he had a squad that was just unstoppable at the time. This time around, Kobe lost because he couldn't carry his team by himself. The star is only as good as his supporting cast, and clearly last night, they all fell way short. And I guess it bees like that sometime.

Oh and I have to say, speaking of other team members, Rajon Rondo was off the chain this whole series. He has EVERYTHING to do with why the Celtics won last night. His defense was impeccable. I don't how many times he stole the damn ball but it was enough to have the Lakers almost in tears. It got to the point where it was like, just stop the damn clock already! It's over!!!

Congrats KG! Congrats Ray! Congrats Paul! Congrats Doc! Congrats Rajon! And Congrats to the Boston Celtics. Well played boys. Well played indeed.

GIANT VICTORY!!!

When David Tyree caught the ball on his helmet after Eli had managed to bob 'n' weave to get out of that almost-sacked-his-ass situation....I lost it. At that point I was standing on the chairs and bangin tables cuz I knew they were going to do it. Then...Eli hit Plaxico and it was a wrap!!! At this point I was on tables and pretty much lost my mind. I scraped up my arm. But who cares....MY GIANTS WON BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People always forget that if you put the underdog in a corner, that dog is gonna find heart where no one thought it existed. The Giants wanted it more and they did it. Believe in the underdog!

18 and 1 HA!!!!!!
