Groupies Are About to Get it Poppin!

Shaquille O'Neal and Shaunie are a wrap. Another beautiful black couple is done. Shaq has filed for divorce and the petition says some shit like, "The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken,"...Just Dayum! One would think that that would mean Shaq done fathered twins with some ho' in Arizona and has been paying her to keep quiet about it (a'la Karl Malone) or you know some as per usual shit like that....BUT NO...it seems it is SHAUNIE that done fucked up. Shaq found out some shit about her...according to People: O'Neal also says in the petition that Shaunie has been "secretive about her assets ... particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either [her] name alone or in other entities" and requests that the court require Shaunie to give a "correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities (including bearer securities)" acquired during the marriage. Now here is the thing, I am a FIRM believer in having your own shit. I don't give a fuck how rich your man is....that just means you don't have to spend your own shit and you can just sit back as it accumulates and adds up. HOWEVER, you don't have to be hiding shit either. If your man respects your hustle, then he will still make sure you can have your own and not have to touch it. He may even help you get more of your own. So that makes me wonder just what kind of assets Shaunie was hiding and if she had help hiding it. Just damn. Well, they made it five years, got 4 kids, and was together a minute before they were married. So as far as marriage and relationships go, the done better than could be expected. It is also just another reminder that marriage is bullshit AND we were not built to share EVERYTHING...especially ourselves with one person.
