Life In The Fab Lane: It All Ends Fabulously

So as I mentioned before, due to my hectic schedule and fun times, I've been slippin on my Life in the Fab Lane viewing and re-caps. So, since tonite was the season finale, I had to watch and see how Kimora wraps up a fun season. In this final episode, KiKi is searching for two things: a puppy and a dress for the Costume Institute Gala at the MET.

After Kimora's baby Zoe died, she thought it was time to get the girls a puppy and teach them a bit of responsibility. When Kimora talked about Zoe and got all choked up I knew exactly how she felt, because she had Zoe since she was a teenager and Zoe was her baby and friend forever. I got my dog when I was 13 and she died recently and it was honestly like losing my best friend and my sister. Even when knowing that they are old and its their time, it just doesn't make it any easier. Anyway....Kimora, in typical style has Christopher go looking for the puppy. You know, like instead of having the girls go and pick out a dog, they just tell Christopher the kind of dog they want -- a black and white, female, teacup Pomeranian -- and Christopher just needs to find the one they want.

Meanwhile, Kimora goes to fabulous gown maker Kevin Hall to find her dress for the Gala. She wants something extra fabulous and extraordinary because, well it is the Costume Gala at the MET. So after trying on a few dresses she tries on the colorful African print dress that she looked fabulous in. At the time, she wasn't exactly sure it was the one, but she takes it because she does love it.

So while Kimora is still deciding on her dress, Christopher is going to every puppy shop in L.A. looking for the specific dog that KiKi and the girls wanted. These puppies were soooooo cute. I mean, I wanted all of them...and so did Christopher but he knew he couldn't bring back nothing that wasn't exactly what Kimora wanted.

Kimora took the girls to Pinkberry to discuss what their responsibilities would be as puppy parents. While Kimora is talkin Ming and Aoki are only worried about their frozen yogurt and Fruity Pebbles and not payin her no kind of attention. So Kimora says who is going to clean up the poopie? Aoki says, Ming. And Kimora says, Aoki what are you going to do? Aoki says, love it, hug it and kiss it. So Kimora creates a contract which she has both girls sign to make sure they know that they are going to be held responsible. I love that! KiKi is grooming her girls to be about the business. Fabulous!

Next Kimora has her friend Andre Leon Talley come and approve of her dress. He gives his seal of approval and has the NERVE to say, "She is going to look spectacular because I never make a mistake." Oh really, Andre? Mkay boo, you believe that if you want to. Anyhoo..Kimora is thrilled because she has her dress and even better, Christopher finds the exact dog that the girls want. She really is a cute tiny lil thing and the people who currently own her, bring her so KiKi and the girls can meet her. They love her and Simba, Kimora's other baby loves her too. So yay, they'll take her. They tell the people they will pick her up after they get back from NY.

So its the night of the Gala and Kimora looks fabulous and Christopher gets a call from the puppy owner and they say they have decided to keep her. Kimora is basically like oh hell no, I have two little girls that want that puppy, she's ours, handle it. So Kimora goes off to the Gala and she said it was fun and fabulous but the whole time she was thinking about whether or not they were going to get the puppy. And of course they do...and Aoki says, let's name her "make-up" or "jewelry"....is this girl Kimora's daughter or what?! They decide to the name the baby Suki. Welcome to the family, Suki....lucky bitch.

I've had so much fun with Kimora, Ming and Aoki! I'm sad the season is over but I'm hoping there is another season in the works. Maybe next season will be all about Kimora's maybe or maybe not engagement to Djimon.
