OK so supposedly Jesse "Drunk Off Haterade" Jackson not only said he wanted to cut Barack's nuts off but he also said: "Barack…he's talking down to black people…telling niggas how to behave." Anyway, the ladies on The View brought this up and got into a very heated argument about why black people can use the "N" word and why white people can't. Sherri Shepard told Barbara Walters that she can say the word and she doesn't want to ever hear it out of her mouth. Whoopi made Elizabeth cry basically telling her that we don't live in the same world and we took the word and made it our own and she doesn't know shit about it so she has no need to say the word.
I agree with everything that Sherri and Whoopi said but I know I am sick as hell of having this discussion. I'm tired of the damn "N" word and I'm tired of black people always having to explain to white people why we say the word and why they can't. Like if they don't get it by now they never will. And the real fact of the matter is that Jesse Jackson shouldn't have said anything that he said and his use of the word nigga was not nearly the biggest problem. This prominent "leader" who should be supporting the one man who can and will make history and make change in this country is just showing white people and everyone else that black people will never stick together.
