Vacation Zsugsh.....

I'm checkin in bitches!! How are we? Hopefully still hung over from 4th of July festivities!! Wait, what day is it? Um, anyway...I am on my way to being burnt and crispy and enjoying myself thoroughly. Doesn't seem I've missed a whole lot but there were just a few things I wanted to share.... First, Ebony Magazine came up with a list of the coolest brothers of all time. From their sleek, debonair styles to their smooth-as-silk personas, these magnificent Black men have conveyed, captured, and conquered the quintessence of cool while making it appear effortless." Loving the Obama cover! And speaking of Barack, this is why we love him: Support the Open Convention!! At the Democratic National Convention next month, Barack will deliver his acceptance speech in front of 75,000 people at a free, open event in Denver, Colorado. Make a donation of $5 or more between now and midnight on July 31st, and you could be one of 10 supporters chosen to meet Barack backstage and watch his acceptance speech in person. Each of the 10 selected supporters can bring a guest, and will be flown to Denver to spend two days at the convention, culminating in Barack's speech on Thursday, August 28th. Venus beat Serena and I have to say I was rootin for Re-Re but very happy for Venus. I'm also happy to see V lookin very pretty on this month's SHAPE mag...especially after watching her on the court (let's just say at least her tennis outfit was cute). See what some make-up, a hot wig, and an eyebrow wax can do for you life? And while we're on the subject of how such little things can work wonders, what can chest-waisted pants aka Full Cover Body Pants do for your life except give you a permanent camel toe and nip slips?! There is not a damn thing cute or fashion forward about these retirement home pants. WHY LORD?! Seriously?! Just NO and NO!! And lastly, just when I think I've seen the worst prom ensemble ever, FRESH provides me with another chance to shake my head and sit with mouth agape in amazement. Don't tell him he's not fierce. I mean this Queen does looks better than most we've seen from the ghetto fried prom circuit....but still. JUST WHY?!!!
