Why I Love Dr. Bailey

No one, other than Meredith Grey, has ever done the Grey's Anatomy narration in the begining or the epsiode "lesson learned" at the end. When I heard Dr. Bailey's voice I got excited. Then when she said "and when God created man, it went all down hill from there"....I knew I was in for a treat.

This episode was about the power of faith. If you believe, you have no idea the miracles that can reveal themselves right before your eyes. Dr. Bailey's marriage is falling apart....mostly because she's a doctor with no time for her family. Her husband is resentful that he stays home to take care of their son.....and someone, either in Bailey's haste to leave for work or Tucker (her husband's bitter stewing, left the baby gate open and a bookcase fell on their son. Baby Tuck is critically injured and everyone wants to help but it seems like all they did was stare....but thanks to the great surgeons at Seattle Grace and a healer patient lady, Baby Tuck survives and is going to be just fine. As we all knew he would.

The episode was a great one for me simply because it showcased Bailey. She truly is a phenomenal actor. I BELIEVE her. While others like Izzy make me want back slap that bitch every time she opens her mouth. Why is she still there? Yet that silly non-acting bitch wins the Emmy over true the talent that is Bailey and Yang. But I digress. Favorite part of the ep....when Bailey tells that beyond fugly bitch Hahn that she don't know her like that and come out her face like that to her again, and she'll knock out a few of those extra teeth she got crowding that bottom row. Love her!

But the real point is, while I'm sad that Bailey's story line has to include a failing marriage and proof that we can't have it all, I love that this beautious black woman gets to play such an amazing role. So thanks, Shonda.

But all in all, I'm sick of Meredith. How she can be mad that McDreamy kissed someone? She never knows what she wants and blah blah blah....typical B who actually can have it all if she wanted to...oh but wait, she has mental issues and seriuos baggage, so I guess she can't and never will. Did I mention I hate Izzy. I wish Alex could get some better story lines. I'm tired of him being the hot brooding womanizer. I did giggle when he told that old healing lady to shut up. Only Alex. And why, tell me why, would they try to have McSteamy (my Something New) like fugly Hahn? WHY????? It seems so fake and pointless. McSteamy can't get the fugly new doctor to like him so its a challenge. Boo and Boo. Please. Stop. Just don't. And Yang....sigh....where is Burke????? She needs Burke! Her obsession with Cardio was cute before and now its all she has. I'm over it. I want her to do something else. And George....I want you to be like the George Bailey named her son after too. I used to love you. Now I can't stand you or your hair. Let's hope a visit from mama will bring you back.

**Update: I've been told that Yang has done narrations before. I've never heard Yang do a narration but I'll believe it. So maybe Bailey wasn't all that extra special just because she got to do the narration but so what...I'm glad it was finally her turn!
